Given the massive amounts of passwords one need to remember, it is easy to forget any of them. This is especially troublesome when the password you forget is the one you use to log into your system. This program lets you create a bootable device (CD, DVD or USB) with which you can reset your Windows password.
The program is very easy to use, After installing it, you only need to select the type of media you want to use to create your bootable device. You can choose between CD/DVD or USB Flash drive. Then, you can insert the corresponding media, and click on the Burn button. The program will start burning the startup files into the device. When it finishes, a dialog box will appear, giving you more instructions on how to use the device. You only need to insert it, restart your computer, and go to its BIOS. There, you need to choose the corresponding medium in the Boot section, so the computer can start from the device and not from the hard drive. In theory, it will allow you to reset your password so you can start Windows. I say "in theory" because, although I burned a CD according to the directions, it didn't boot when I restarted my system. It may be a limitation of the trial version.
Another limitation is that you only can create a bootable CD/DVD and not a USB device. If you like the program and want to take advantage of all its features, you will need to purchase a license, whose cost can vary according to the number of computers in which you intend to use it.
